Editor & Adviser
Philip Schwartz lends his expertise as a communications specialist and an editor with an eye for detail, reading all content and checking visuals to ensure a professional polish. A former journalist with The Spotlight, The Daily Gazette and the Albany Business Review, and a current project manager at an upstate New York firm, he built his career in the Capital Region, founding an Albany-based literary arts magazine along the way. His solid and spot-on recommendations keep Connections on track and moving forward.
Nolan Schwartz is our resident elementary school student. He reads all content, checking the Fascination Factor (No boring articles allowed!), measuring on the Confusion Scale (It's got to make sense to kids!), and sleuthing for typos and other errors that we never ever want to see in print.
He also feeds and herds our resident cats as needed. It's an incredibly demanding task, as critical to our success as his editorial responsibilities.
Plugged into kid culture as only a kid can be, Nolan added this quote himself: "Extremely obsessed with Pokemon.Gotta Catch em' All!!!!"
